NW Revolution Youth 2003 - 2007

They were the youth group I had the pleasure, priviledge and honor to be a part of, as a youth leader, worship band leader, and learned a during that time. A time in my life I wouldn't trade for the world.

Changes were a constant..

We had youth leaders come and go, kids came and went, we changed locations and even the nights we met on changed. But in spite of change, one thing held true however, we knew this was a special group.. wait.. just one thing? More like several, actually.

Mentoring..

I had the chance to mentor a few girls, one who recently just got married last month (and had the honor of being in her wedding!). Mentoring was really an opportunity to encourage and lead them in their walk with Jesus while having fun at the same time.

Even with my limited musical skills I somehow mentored some of our musicians, (it was the Grace of God really) and all three of them are still involved to one degree or another. It was such an amazing time, despite the mistakes I made. There's no question that the Lord blessed this group, and none of us will ever be the same..

Of course I have many GREAT memories of some funny, goofy things we did.. From our Christmas parties, summer events and even our last Harvest party in October 2007 (which was by far, THE BEST I must say)...

Then there were very special nights where kids were touched by the power of God, some for the first time and so on... It wasn't just "fun" to see God move in their lives, it was amazing!

During the last year, I was able to take several short video clips another of which I've included below of a game night we did which is by far the funniest thing I think we ever did! (Editing done by one of our other leaders, David who is in the video). I can't help but crack up everytime I watch this.. (its hilarious to listen as we all sound like a bunch of chipmunks!). Clip includes a "guest appearance" by Dustin, aka the Hulk.. (watch to the end and it'll make sense).
