Reposting of an older blog: NW Revolution Youth 2003 - 2007

They were the youth group I had the pleasure, priviledge & honor to be a part of as a youth leader, worship band leader & learned LOTS from. This was from June 18th, 2003 to November 2007.

We had youth leaders come and go, kids came and went, changed locations and even nights we met on. One thing held true however, this was a special group.. well, one thing?! I think several actually!

I had the chance to mentor a few girls, and even some of our musicians.. wow.. what an honor.. Made mistakes too. But the Lord blessed this group & none of us will ever be the same.. we have some GREAT memories of great, goofy things we did.. Our Christmas parties, summer events and our last Harvest party in October 2007, which was by far, THE BEST... Then there were very special nights where kids were touched by the power of God, some for the first time & so on... It wasn't just "fun" to see God move in their lives, it was amazing...!

During the last year of my involvement, I was able to take some short video clips one of which I've included here.. I crack up everytime I watch this.. 'course, I'm filming & laughing during the whole thing (and sound like a cross between Flipper AND a chipmunk!).

The reasons why I'm no longer part of this group I'd rather not discuss here.. some of my blogs from last November, December and this past January will help explain.. go read em.. maybe leave me a comment?? lol..

Anyway - check out the video..

I was so blessed to also be a part of NW revolution. Many days I think about all the fun that we had even if I was only a part for a year it was a good first year.
I miss you all so much and can't wait till God brings us together again.
